So far, I manage to saw the three AI Weapons at Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. These were the AI machine bosses that you will encounter in some points in the game. So let me share my impressions when I first encounter these enemy bosses. NOTE: For you guys playing PW and haven’t encountered any of them, you will most likely be spoiled.
THE PUPA
The first AI weapon boss you will encounter. It’s not actually that intimidating but I was actually had a hard time fighting it at first. It took me about three or four retries before I manage to beat it.
THE CHRYSALIS
Yikes! A flying AI weapon...! Nah, I’m not really that surprise to this one since it already appeared in several cinematic scenes right before I ever come to face it. I found it much easier to beat it compare to the PUPA. I manage to beat it with one retry. I don’t know maybe because I’m already well prepared having decent weapons. But I hate those “Kidnappers”, they’re such a pain in some point.
THE COCOON
First reaction I was like – “WTF!! You got to be kiddin’ me! THAT’s the COCOON!?“ I didn’t expect the Cocoon is the big AI weapon there. I already saw it before in a video but I first thought that it would be the final or special boss since its freaking huge. It’s much bigger compare to the normal size of a Metal Gear! I manage to beat it with one failure but I failed on entering its AI Pod. The pod is located on the very top of the machine and you have to climb it using the ladder. But I was confused on my way there so I ended up finishing without ever entering the pod. It took me about several attempts before I finally figured it out where to climb.
I guess these are the three main AI Weapon bosses. Don’t know if there would be another. Probably, the final boss. Anyways I still need more AI boards for my Metal Gear ZEKE and I still haven’t unlocked the Monster Hunter Quest. There are still lots of things to do at PW.
Time to get back to the mission, over and out!
My favorite would be the pupa for its moe factor :) but hands down to peace walker for all the frustration it gave!
ReplyDeleteMoe factor at the Pupa? I didn't thought of that, actually :p I would probably choose the Cocoon because its damn big. I like the feel of Big Boss taking out a battle fortress >=)
ReplyDeleteI already encountered Peace Walker. Honestly, its not that hard for me. I beat it without retries OR are you talking about the second form not the first. (O_O) I just encountered Peace Walker the first time so I have no idea.
the pupa's moe factor lies on it's rear part: it's cute when it sway it XD.

The rear part of the Pupa? You have some imaginations there, hehehe! Well for me the moe factor there would be when I'm using a female soldier >=)
ReplyDeleteI already expect to fight a second form as what I saw in the scene after the first fight... but a third form?? (O_O) Wow. Better prepare myself.
